So I have been expirementing with watercolor paints recently and I am learning a lot. First of all not all watercolor paper is created equal. I have learned the difference between cold press and hot press paper. The cold press paper has the typical watercolor paper texture where the hot press is much smoother. I am looking forward to trying some hot press paper next time.
Watercolors are probably one of the cheapest and most portable media there is. No special brushes or cleaners required. Here are a few of my recent pieces.
